I. THOU SHALT NOT EXTORT THE PLAYER.
II. THOU SHALT NOT BE LAZY IN DESIGN.
III. THOU SHALT NOT CREATE A GAME WHERE PLAYER POSITION GIVES A GAME BREAKING ADVANTAGE. (UNLESS THE GAME ALLOWS PLAYERS TO SWTICH WHO GOES FIRST.)
IV. THOU SHALT WRITE RULES THAT EXPLAIN MOST THINGS THE PLAYERS MAY ENCOUNTER.
V. THOU SHALT, WHEN POSSIBLE, CREATE BETTER WAYS TO EXPLAIN THE RULES BEYOND THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL.
VI. THOU SHALT EXPLAIN TO YOUR PLAYER WHY ONE WOULD WANT TO DO A COUNTER INTUITIVE ACTION.
VII. THOU SHALT MAKE A RULE BOOK THAT IS NOT BORING TO READ.
VIII. THOU SHALT NOT MAKE THE PLAYER UNCOMFORTABLE UNLESS THE REASON TO DO SO IS FOR ARTISTIC MERRIT.
IX. THOU SHALT NOT MAKE A GAME THAT NEEDS AN EXPANSION TO MAKE IT PLAYABLE.
X. BREAKING ANY OF THE ABBOVE DOES NOT MEAN YOU GAME IS BAD JUST FLAWED.
